Pineapple Curry

This is one of the easiest and very tasty dish that I have come across. Pineapple curry is very popular in the Asia. I have addicted to the taste of this dish. Some people cook this pineapple curry with rice or chicken, but i preferred to cook it’s own and cutting them into small cubes.

  • 1 large Pineapple cut into bite size cubs
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Chili Flakes
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 4-5 clove Garlic
  • Salt to taste


  • Heat the butter in a pan or wok on a medium flame. Add garlic to the butter and add the chopped onion and stir until onion is softened. Then add the chili flakes and cook about 3 minutes in a very low flame.
  • Now add the pineapple and bring the heat up to medium. Add salt and mix well. And add the sugar and mix again.
  • Keep stir until the gravy is dissolved. You may notice that pineapple color will change gradually.
